| August 3, 2010 | Hoyer Hall in Clayton, CA Ted provides feedback to the Clayton City Council on partnering with the Clayton Valley Garden Club for beautification of City Hall's courtyard As a City Planning Commissioner and Boardmember of the Clayton Valley Garden Club, Ted Meriam offered thoughts on the beautification and amenities of City Hall's courtyard. Using knowledge from his work as a Planning Commissioner, Ted suggested that the City provide services to the community that would allow for residents to visit City Hall no matter the mode of transportation they took, including the need for bike racks. Ted will provide research to the City in locations as to where bike racks can be provided to encourage more eco-friendly forms of transportation around town. | |

Ted suggested that the Council consider the future implementation of the Town Center Specific Plan when investing in downtown infrastructure, as well as educational opportunities of using well-provided water during a drought. He also challenged City staff on providing deeper analysis of the return on investment on projects of this nature. | |
