Issue: Creekside Terrace Development Project
August 26, 2010 | CCTV's Candidate Forum
The City of Clayton's Redevelopment Agency recently completed the entitlement process of a downtown development called Creekside Terrace, located on Oak Street. When the original developer stopped funding the project plan, the City took on an unusual role to complete the planning process.
Ted discusses the Redevelopment Agency and Planning Commission's role in preparing this project, which is now ready for a developer to pick up and build.
With Clayton struggling in the past to get active and qualified developers, Ted is pleased to see that the City pushed forward to entitle a project that will add 7,200 square feet of downtown retail with seven residential units as well.
